Assignment #2 - Blog Creation

This class is almost completely DIGITAL, and you will need your own blog in which to post your assignments.

Most assignments are posted on the internet on MY class blog, (the one you're reading)
and MOST of your work will either be posted directly on your blog, or, in most cases, posted to a YouTube account. You would then post the LINK on this TUMBLR account you'll create.

The usual process for completing an assignment in this class is MOSTLY like this:

1. You check my blog at http://cg1-arcusamark.blogspot.com for instructions.

2.  You use the software the assignment calls for to create your response, (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and Save it in it's native format on your iMac. Save smaller files on a flash drive too.

3. When the project is COMPLETE, you'll have to CONVERT it to a web-friendly format, save again, and POST THE RESPONSE BY ASSIGNMENT NAME on your blog.

4. Answer the BCR and post as a caption.

Your success in this class DEPENDS on whether you post to your blog or not. THIS enables me to enter your grades in school, at home, or even from my iPhone sitting on the beach.
YOU MUST CREATE THIS BLOG! If you need help, ASK!

How to create your blog:

1. Press Command-T on your keyboard to open a new tab so this window you're currently reading can be open with your new one. Do a step, click back to the other tab.
DO NOT post your work to an EXISTING tumblr page. If you already use tumblr,
you'll need to create a NEW one just for my class.
(you may ADD a new page to your existing tumblr account, however.)

2. Go to www.tumblr.com (not tumbler with an "e")

3. enter a current email address into the field, a password you'd like, and the url you'd like to have.
• if you're in my 2A class you MUST use
 2acg1-lastnamefirstname as the url
• if you're in my 1B class you MUST use
 1bcg1-lastnamefirstname as the url
• if you're in my 2A class you MUST use
 2bcg1-lastnamefirstname as the url

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!
4. Follow the rest of the instructions. You'll need to check the email address you gave them to verify the account. DON'T PASSWORD PROTECT THE SITE!
